How to get started as a Student

Step 1

Register Your Account

Sign up as a Student (or as a Parent to manage multiple children under one login). Enter email, phone, and password. You can add a referral code to get credits.

Tip: Family Account lets parents manage all siblings from one login.
Step 2

Browse & Find a Mentor

Go to Find Mentors. Use filters for subject, class, mode, or qualification. View mentor profiles with bios, demo videos, star ratings, and student reviews before deciding.

Tip: Check the demo video — it shows how the mentor actually teaches.
Step 3

Enroll in a Course

Open the mentor's profile, choose a course, and click Enroll. Pay securely with Razorpay (UPI, card, net banking). Your enrolment is activated the moment payment is verified.

Tip: Referral credits can reduce your course fee automatically.
Step 4

Access Learning Materials

Go to Dashboard → Materials. You'll see all Notes, Videos, PDFs, Quizzes, and PYQs your mentor has published for your enrolled courses. Study at your own pace.

Tip: Download PDFs for offline study.
Step 5

Complete Worksheets

Under Worksheets you'll see pending assignments from your mentor. Open one, answer all questions before the due date, and submit. Late submissions may still be accepted at the mentor's discretion.

Tip: Answer every question — partial marks count towards XP.
Step 6

Earn XP & Badges

Every submission earns XP. Getting graded well earns bonus XP. Hit milestones to unlock badges like Rising Star, Perfect Score, Hot Streak, Scholar, and more.

Tip: A weekly submission streak keeps your Streak Bonus multiplier active.
Step 7

Track Your Progress

Visit Progress to see bar and line charts of your marks over time, average scores per course, and overall performance trends. Share this with a parent in one tap.

Tip: Consistent improvement in charts motivates mentors to give better feedback.
Step 8

Check the Leaderboard

See how you rank among other students on the platform-wide XP leaderboard. Compete for top positions — the leaderboard refreshes in real time.

Tip: Top-ranked students attract mentor attention for scholarship opportunities.
Step 9

Download Your Certificate

When you score high enough on a worksheet, a verified PDF certificate is generated automatically. Go to Certificates to download it. Each has a unique public link for employers or colleges.

Tip: Certificates include your mentor's verified signature.
Step 10

Plan Your Study Schedule

Use Study Planner to build a personal weekly timetable. Add blocks for Class, Study, Worksheets, Revision, and Breaks for each day of the week with colour coding.

Tip: A visual schedule reduces procrastination significantly.
Step 11

Chat with Your Mentor

Open Chat and find your mentor's room. Ask questions, share images of your notebook, or send a voice note. Real-time, private, and fully in-app.

Tip: Use chat to clarify doubts before the worksheet deadline.
Step 12

Refer Friends & Earn Credits

Go to Referral → copy your unique code. When a friend signs up using it, you both earn credits. Credits are applied automatically as a discount on your next enrolment.

Tip: More referrals = more free learning.

Frequently asked questions

Can I switch between mentor and student roles?
No — each account has a fixed role chosen at registration. If you need both roles, create two separate accounts with different email addresses.
How does the certificate verification work?
Every certificate has a unique URL at /verify/student/:id. Anyone — a school, college, or employer — can open that link to confirm the certificate is authentic.
Can a parent enrol their child in a course?
Yes. A family account lets parents browse mentors and enrol any child profile. Payment is made by the parent and the enrolment appears under the child's profile.
Is the chat private between mentor and student?
Yes. Each mentor–student pair has a private chat room. Text, images, and audio messages are supported. No one else can read your conversations.
What happens when a student scores high on a worksheet?
The system automatically awards XP and, if the score crosses the qualifying threshold set by the mentor, generates and issues a signed PDF certificate instantly.
Are there limits on how many students a mentor can have?
The number of students and courses depends on your subscription plan (Starter, Growth, or Pro). You can upgrade at any time from the Subscription page.
